Remote learning and working has been a bitter sweet experience in 2020 and now 2021. For many it has been a positive experience but for many it has not. Whether you are a grandparent, aunt, uncle, godparent , parent, a child, a teenager or young adult in school, you had some type with experience with remote work or learning. If you don’t you probably know many people that were forced to do it and many still are.
As a parent and educator, I can relate to the many perspectives of remote learning and working because I too had to balance a 6 year old learning remotely while also having to teach my own classes in a new method no one was prepared for. A year has come and went, and we are ready to end this school year. It’s crazy to think that many of us whether still working from home or not, made it through the soon. Whether you felt comfortable in your pjs all day or hated every moment of sitting in front of your screen, remote is here but is it here to stay?
This is why my sister and I decided to create the topic for tomorrow’s podcast that will be premiering tomorrow at 7am on Spotify, Apple Podcast, Anchor, Pocket Caster, Google Podcast and many more. We both have experienced remote as workers, students, and also me as a parent. Tomorrow on the Ash & Jules podcast we will be discussing the pros and cons and remote learning and working & what we can learn from this experience.
