It’s like Pandora’s box has been opened
And everywhere I turn
All I see is darkness
All I see are the demons they warned us about
They are alive. They are real. They live within us.
We can’t escape it but we can sing
And hope and pray and love one another
We can take a break and let Earth breathe
We can take time to get to know ourselves inside and out
So that we understand and have the ability to love others that are unlike us
How can you love others if you have yet begun to love yourself ?
